Max is a disabled trans man with a bachelor’s degree in English. He loves writing, embroidery, drawing, and binging the latest Markiplier videos. After growing up in the Southern Baptist Church, he is deconstructing his faith and figuring out his spiritual beliefs. He began slipping down the alt-right pipeline in high school and college, but with the help of caring people, he pulled his head out of his ass and is now learning to embrace feminism, anti-racism, and acceptance of the queer community. He knows he still has much to learn.
Max grew up in a very conservative community and did not know trans people existed until he went to college. He understands the complex and often painful role of the eldest daughter, but is still trying to figure out what it means to be the youngest son. He hopes that he can reach other young trans men who feel lost in the world and show them that it really can get better.
